Artificial beaver dams help restore wetlands and habitat in B.C.
|
|
The B.C. Wildlife Federation (BCWF) is tackling ecosystem restoration by building artificial beaver dams as part of its 10,000 Wetlands Project. More than 70 dams have already been installed across Interior waterways, with a goal of 100 by 2025. These manmade structures are helping restore vital freshwater habitats and support beaver populations.
